Hi, I’m Janelle Fenstra and I joined CPA Financial Architects in March 2023. I am originally from Hawaii, but I lived most of my adult life in Las Vegas, Nevada.
I recently graduated in December 2022 from FIU with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics.
After over 10 years in lending and branch banking, I was given the opportunity to become a recovery auditor for a private firm. With this transition in my career I found that the role allowed me to engage in my love for critical thinking and numbers while assisting others and businesses to develop in multiple challenging ways. This led to my drive to develop my knowledge in accounting and analytics.
By the end of 2024, I would like to obtain my CPA license and pursue my master’s degree in accounting with an emphasis in forensic accounting.
And as of right now, I am studying for the CPA exams and gaining career development in the areas of tax and bookkeeping accounting.
